Heidelberg VFD will be holding an Indoor Flea Markets on January 3, 2010. Doors will open to vendors at 6:00am with tables being $15. If you are intrested in reserving a table or need more info please e-mail us at info@heidelbergfire.com or call (412)722-6314. The FLEA MARKET will open to the public at 7:00am and doors will close at 3:00pm. Our kitchen will be open for the duration and we will be offering HVFD’s Famous Peirogi’s. We hope to see everyone there.

Four firefighters from Allegheny County were recognized for their efforts at Friday’s monthly meeting of the ACVFFA, held at HVFD. Those honored include Anthony T. Fabrize, Charles W. Guthrie, George Lantzy, Jr., and Nick Vay. Thank you, not only to those four men, but to all of the fire fighters in and around Allegheny County who volunteer their time to keep us safe.

Congratulations to Carnegie Team “A” for being the last team standing at the end of our water battle competition. Runners up include Glendale, East Carnegie and Heidelberg.
