170 Engine 2
170 Engine 2 is a 1995 KME service engine purchased through the United States Air Force contract. 170-2 is equipped with a 1250 gpm Hale pump, 500 gallon booster tank, and 15 kW Onan generator. This engine was purchased to replaced a 1975 Ford/Pierce engine that was nicknamed “Mighty Fuzzy” after William “Fuzzy” Evans, a past fire chief.
