What is CAFS ?

CAFS = Compressed Air Foam System.  CAFS is a break through advancment in fire suppression.   CAFS is a mixture of water, foam, and compressed air, that when used in the firefighting application creates amazing results.

Advantages to CAFS

  1. Uses 10 times less water than conventional fire suppresion. (water alone)
  2. Extinguishes combustable materials 5 times faster.(than with just water)
  3. Makes typical firefighting handlines 15 times lighter. (than those with water)
  4. Causes less damage than would be caused by water.
